Feb 13th to 19th will be NSEC’s second stable management week of the 2016/2017 season.
Stable Management week applies to ALL lessons, including privates, semi-privates and adult lessons.
Stable management weeks give us a chance to give our horses a break from work to help them relax and feel refreshed as well as gives students a chance to go over the important things they need to know that can’t be taught on the horse. This is includes going over proper tacking/grooming and stall etiquette for our beginner riders to important safety/first aid in case of emergency for our more advanced riders.
Students should show up in riding attire and have their helmet with them, but they will not need grooming equipment or crops for stable management. Students do not have to show up early for stable management and can meet their instructor outside the office at their regular scheduled lesson time.
If you are unable to make your stable management class for any reason, please let me know ASAP so we can book a make-up within the stable management week.
If you ride in lessons more than once/week, or if you have pre-booked any make-up lessons during this week, please contact me about rescheduling any lessons beyond the one required stable management lesson.
